Martin’s tractor
This was another rainy weekend in June that I chose to paint my neighbor’s tractor which was sitting outside my studio window. Perfect for a rainy day. The comforts of painting in the studio with the stereo, cats on the chairs and watching the rain come down. After the rain move on, I decided this would make a good painting. This is 8×10 oil on linen.

This gentlemen was sitting among a crowd at the Door County Plein Air Festival in Wisconsin. He was in one of several photos I took at the event and I was drawn to paint him. I love the thoughtful look on his face. I wish I would have introduced myself and gotten his name. If anyone who was at the event knows this man, feel free to put us in contact.
The Bird Watchers
I painted this at Riverlands Mligratory Bird Sanctuary near Alton, Ill. It was a breezy day, cold with temps in the high 20s. The walk out bridge is great for bird watching. This is 14×18.
